- Started unpacking (from our trip) - Run two loads of laundry - Killed a centipede - Caught a huge spider in my son's insect cage - Entered the entire summer camp and sports schedule into our shared calendar
Yesterday about a dozen family members descended on the house for a cookout. I am fortunate to still have my dad, and my father-in-law, who sat together on the side porch, in the 90 degree sun because they were too cold inside the house, and talked about flying. They are the same age - 79. I can only hope we still have some years left because there's just something about seeing them there, together, that makes me feel complete.

Stunning. I am in awe.
There is hope for the world after all. Time to go change the ending of a draft.
