I swear I won't post any more heart warming stories

but this one really did warm my reptilian heart.

Best example of laugh and cry: "Santa was worried he might not make it this year so he called in the Marines."

Thanks to ~*Susan Adrian~* for the heads up.

that story totally reminds me of myself.

as a young Muslim kid, I was often brainwashed by my school teachers that Santa was real. I always demanded to my parents that we should celebrate Christmas, but we never did. I so badly wanted a Christmas tree, but my parents refused to buy a tree, so I made one out of Mom's tall potted plant... hahahaha. how repulsive.

That is some really great writing, right there. Warmed my cynical little heart as well.

Lovely reading recommendation. I worked as a nanny for three years with some incredibly privileged children and it was always a wonderful task to explain the meaning of giving during the holidays.

Let's hear it for the marines. Awesome in so many ways.

That was a really lovely story. It reminds us of the true meaning of the season.

It made me stop and think about how blessed I have been.

I'll also salute the marines. What an awesome group of men and women.

I loved this! Thanks for the link. :) Santa won't be visiting us this year so it's nice to hear Christmas stories.
