Electric Church on "Best of" List

Well, of course it is!

But here's where you'll find the list.

Jeff's response? "My agent told me to think of TEC as a thriller early on, but it took me a while to believe her. It’s got cyborgs, fer crissakes, can it really be described as anything but sci-fi? Apparently my agent is not crazy, as previously supposed. Carry on."

The Electric Church was one book that I couldn't put down until I finished it.

I would call it SF, not a thriller, but what do I know? It was published by Orbit.

It was an excellent read and I am so happy that I found it on the SF shelf of my bookstore. Maybe I should call it "SF for people who think they don't like SF." Is there a section in the bookstore for that?

And can't you just see Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes in the movie version?

I've never heard of Jason Mewes before, but my god, he would be perfect for Avery Cates.

Jason Mewes is always "Jay" as in "Jay and Silent Bob" in the Kevin Smith movies. He is perfectly foul-mouthed, just like Avery Cates. He and Kevin Smith would be great as Avery Cates and Kev Gatz.

You heard it here first.
