After a while, crocodile

I like the guesses you made on yesterday's blog post, but you're all over the map (ha!).

None of you were close.

I'm staying with a friend for a few days before heading to the final destination.

Here is the friend:

I was seriously overdue for cat petting!

What a handsome cat! Cat petting will relax you like nothing else, Janet. Don't you love the sound of purring?

Wishing you a purr-fect holiday, wherever you're headed. Watery and secluded sounds like The Great Dismal Swamp. Hope I'm wrong about that!

Not Carkoon? Tibet? Is there water in Tibet? I didn't get to guess yesterday. But glad you have a cat to pet for a spell. Are we ever going to find out? Singapore? Maybe it's Singapore. It's lovely.

Just got back from our first outing beyond our borders in 2.5. Things have eased a bit here in CT so I felt safe, comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Adirondacks.
Wherever you go I wish you the rural, remote and deliciously watery respite you seek.
And to think, when the time comes to return home, your beautiful new couch will be waiting for you.

I'm putting my chips on Niagara Falls. Sans cat. No cats like Niagara Falls.

Watery, isolated, rural...

The fact that word association is giving me "grave" or even "murders" as next in series hopefully speaks more to my reading habits than your holiday. I hope the only grave thing is the look on the cat's face when she realises you're leaving without her, and the only thing getting murdered is some sushi.

Have a lovely time!

P.S. I'm still convinced you're off to Carkoon. Those bags have no wheels and are therefore obviously designed to be carried by minions.

Have fun! My first thought was rural Ireland. My next guess is Nantucket.

Another guess, your luggage tells me you're not going very far. I think you went to Central Park to be with you feline friend and now you'll be heading to Long Island.

I definitely agree with your choice of friends. Have a great vacation!

Oh, cat time is a wonderful holiday. Although it sounds like you are getting 2 parts to your break. Regardless of where you are heading I hope you are having a wonderfully relaxing time and getting in a lot of reading for pleasure.
