What Cynthia said. I am afraid our youth do not understand. They take so much for granted. Maybe like some of us did until that awful and beautiful September day twenty years ago. It is up to them to teach them about that day. But this is a hard day. The day the world stopped turning ...never forget, indeed.
I've been working outside all day. I kept looking up at our brilliant blue skies - shaking my head, trying to swallow the lump in my throat. Grateful for the peace of our herd to ease the horror.

I lived much of my (alleged) adult life right near there and narrowly escaped that morning.
As I do every year, I'll be there this morning and then quietly wait for this day to be over.
Thank you for remembering
I'm really afraid the young'uns don't get it. It's up to us to make sure they do.
