My familiar, Pepper, demonstrates the proper use of a treadmill. After doing my two miles, Pepper leaves her comfy bed (located under my desk) to use the treadmill. I had no idea why until I felt the treadmill bed after use and discovered it was warm. And therefore an ideal place for kitty-cat lounging.

Such a serious face! Must get warm, must get warm, must get...
Hi, Pepper! What an opportunistic girl.
Why are you taking a picture of me? I am warm. I want to...ZZZZZZ
Pepper has discovered the appropriate use of a treadmill. She looks far happier on it than I have ever been using one!!
Awww, another Pepper! Top points for best alternative use for a treadmill. My pepper wouldn’t get on a treadmill even if it was covered with milk bones :)
Pepper uses the treadmill exactly the same way I do. I like this cat.
I’ve always suspected that treadmills have a higher purpose.

Pepper is very pretty! One of our dogs, a Corgi named Kitty, used to sleep on hubby's treadmill. I prefer walking in the woods.
Down here in Florida, where cats rarely get cold enough to look this serious, cats have phases. They will hang out in one spot until you get used to them being there; then the move and do it all over again.
I'm sure Pepper is grateful to you for putting in the effort necessary to warm her napping spot. She's probably convinced that's the only reason you do it.
Has anyone seen the videos of Cinderblock, aka the cat using a water treadmill (under a vet's supervision) to lose weight? You can find her on Instagram as @cinderblock_cat and @northshore_vet.
A video of her complaining on the treadmill went viral a few months ago. Since then, she's safely lost a pound but gained a ton of followers.
I think this is Cinderblock's video that went viral:

Pepper has her priorities straight!
Or maybe she's planning to meet up with "Tucker with an F" later for a little rat-catching workout and needs her rest?
Smart Pepper!
I thought treadmills were for hanging laundry. I gotta find my owner's manual, must be a different model. Maybe I need TWO treadmills. That'll impress guests who don't have a complete treadmill understanding.
