Gosh, I'd love that job!
Interesting fact, the first wolverine spotted in Michigan in over 200 years was in 2004. In 2011, she was found dead, partially submerged near a beaver dam in the thumb area. They are either as elusive as Sasquatch or she truly was the last one.
So why did the Michigan Wolverines decide that should be a great team name? No one really knows for sure.
This is awesome. You can hire a wolverine to hurry an agent along in reading a requested full. Who knew? This makes me giddy with excitement. I will be taking references for agent-hurrying wolverines before entering the trenches. Fabulous.
I'm going to start a Wolverine (no kill) shelter. I can train and rent them out.
Although my mini Weiner-dog Hitch could match any wolverine when it comes to keeping errant agents on track. Especially if the manuscript is Fifty Shades of Milkbones or Milkbomes at Hogwarts or Where the Milkbones Sing.
I'm a little disappointed that 1-800-248-6643 doesn't actually connect to anything (according to the whitepages, at least).
As yesterday's photographer--who did *not* submit a photo of Haystack Rock, aka the rock used in The Goonies-- should offer to submit a Goonies inspired photo or two.
Although I can't take any truffle shuffle photos on the Goonie House's fence 'cause that annoys the current owner.
Are you going to finish going through your vacation photos first? I think I have sent two since Harry the tortoise and haven't seen them yet.
nightsmusic - FYI - wolverines are famous for being fierce, tenacious, and hellaciously strong for their size. They're the size of a dog and can bring down a moose. Great team name!
Adele yup, knew that. I'm just speculating on who decided, since we have none here, that it would be a good name. And considering how they played against OSU this past weekend, the Michigan Possums would have been a better name because they too rolled over and played dead...
Darn! Judy Moore (more lurker here than commenter) came to Paris with her husband last month. My husband and I invited them to our apartment for dinner. We enjoyed a wonderful evening with much laughter and wine, but afterwards both Judy and I said, darn we forgot to take photos.
Busted.
My kids' elementary school mascot was the Wolverine. Some staff thought they should change it to something more gentle, like Sea Stars, but that movement never gained any traction.
This might be of help...
