This is Ish, who is also modest and good-natured, unlike his rather reclusive and curmudgeonly owner. His full name is Anara Call Me Ishmael RE. That last stands for Rally Excellent, a high-level performance title, because Ish has brains as well as beauty.
Isn't he a handsome fellow!!
Ish is gorgeous. Thanks for sharing OP
Indeed he is! That is the face of a philosopher. Better yet, a philosopher-king.
I think I'm a little in love with Ish :)
Only Steve Forti could work Pequod into the comments, so I won't even attempt it. But I'll still call you Ish, because you'd be down the block and around the corner before I could get through Anara Call Me Ishmael RE. (Besides, you'd be scared to come back thinking you were in trouble!)
Happy writing, all. It's another perfect day for it. Too bad my writing isn't perfect to match.
Owned one for 14 years. Best dog ever.
RE! t=That's a lot of hard work for dog and handler!
Also, when I saw "Ish", I thought of the main character of Earth Abides, Isherwood, and not the far more obvious Ishmael!
I'm with nightsmusic on this one. You're a dish, Ish!
Completely OT: I just saw a listing for a 50 word FF Halloween Horror writing contest, with an actual $$ prize ($500) and no entry fee. Seems like this might be up the (dark) alley of some of you FF champs here. It's on the Every Writer website. Here's the link, although I don't know how to linkify it, so here ya go.
Hope this is okay to post here. The deadline is coming up in another 11 days.
Here's you link Panda Anne:
Good luck to all who try.
I love dogs that ask why their master has called them. I can almost read the thoughts through this photo, smart and beautiful, why did I get hijacked by cats?
Speaking of cats, w have had a long string of dog pics, do a cat next, please.
Hello, Ish! Why yes he is very handsome. And posing so grandly with his head tilted and everything.
Very regal indeed! Your guy is lovely. (I feel I should put Hubbell after that.)
Thank you for all your comments -- Ish is a complete gentleman and the easiest dog I've ever trained, and I am deeply proud of him!
