Where?

While I am off praying for world peace, and awaiting the Resurrection, I hope all my very treasured blog readers will use these few days to post a link to their blog or website so you can all get to know each other.

The links are in the comments section of Thursday's blog post here.

Have a very happy start to April, and the new spring season!

Happy Easter, Passover, Spring Break and NCAA tournament. I think that covers the important stuff.

Go UCONN women tonight.

Amanda was right yesterday, this is like a "Janet Who" coffee house - light, two sweeteners please. Is that Colin cutting the line? Aw, let him in.

These blog pics may just be getting more and more frightening . . .

Happy Easter and Passover and spring as I sit here sipping my tea and marvel at the setting moon.

Great place, this Coffee House here. Yes, let Colin cut in line. He's been hard at work this whole weekend. (although we've all been busy as we tried to visit everyone's webpage!)

Good morning all!

I'm laughing, because while everyone has been bemoaning the nasty weather, Alaska has been basking in dry roads and weather in the high 40s. Well no more. Today we awoke to a winter wonderland. Life is funny that way. At least it'll make for some highly interesting Easter egg hunts. =) Furthermore, today is Palm Sunday in the Orthodox Church, so I'll be walking into the church holding my palm tree branch.

I wish everyone a very happy (and warm) Easter, Passover, Palm Sunday or whatever you are celebrating! Carkoonians are notorious partiers!

Couldn't heklp noticing – Notorious Partiers would be a good name for a band.

Happy Easter, everyone!

Christina, I understand the winter-after-spring weather. We had that last week - temps at nearly room temperature, then a day later, snow. I feel for you. At least our snow is just about gone again. Hope yours is gone soon, too. And Easter Eggs will be easier to find... as long as you don't dye them. Then mwhahaha!

I'm happy this morning, for more reasons than the Resurrection (although that's a biggie!) My furnace actually kicked in at bedtime last night, so I slept well. And I am drinking coffee.

I wish all of you and yours at least as much happiness as I have, if not much more. Have a great day!

(That should be "unless you don't dye them", not "as long as you don't dye them". I still can't delete my messages.)

Sorry for the correction. Please read on.

Happy Easter all!
I wanted to update my blog and hop through some of yours during the last few days. But, I volunteer with a couple of senior centers and women shelters. With the April 15 filing deadline looming and my day job in numbers, I've been swamped.
Maybe next time...

We need like buttons for our coffee house comments, 2Ns. We should ask old whats-her-face if she can set that up.

I sure hope she hasn't had time to read these.

Amanda! See you in Carkoon!

Well Colin, it's back to me cleaning the Carkoon latrines tomorrow. It's been a nice break for a few days but really, we are in trouble, the boss is back tomorrow.

2Ns: I know. I can't imagine what might be worse that exile on Carkoon. But I'm sure whatever it is, that's what I've got to look forward to...

Well, I've now visited more than two blogs. WAY more. And I now know some of you better than I did (which was not at all, really). Well enough that this knowledge will be good fodder for including you all in a story some day. Or for blackmail. Or something.

Still not done, though. Thanks for the list, Colin. It has been very helpful in selecting my vict-- um, places to visit.

Not to get all sappy or anything (OK, this is totally sappy), and you all might have a completely different take on this, but I wanted to say that for me this wasn't just about getting to know some of you better. Well, it was, but it was more than that. For me, it was a good reminder of the power of words. Of the impact a person can make by simply saying something kind, by saying to another person, "Hello, I see you."

I honestly don't know whether I'll get to all the rest of the blogs. I have some serious time commitments this week. But I'm going to try. Because words are what connect us, and that is a powerful thing.
/end sappiness

Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Happy Easter to all. I feel so blessed. I felt a tremendous sense of peace descend over me and what a blessing.

I'm terribly behind on the reading, but I'll finish making the rounds.
