I love Otter, and I've been looking at the wonderful illustrations on Sam Garton's website for years. In those pre-book illustrations, Otter Keeper was a man and I always assumed Otter was a boy. I was charmed. Now the book has come out and Otter Keeper's sex has been changed! And Otter is a girl! I am disappointed and confused as to why this was done. Sam Garton's website has also changed, and I can't find those other illustrations any more. Sob!

Utterly delightful! Just what I needed to start my Sunday. Thank you for sharing.
Or should I say, "Otterly"?
Just Jan, you should say that. It is otter this world. Thank you, Ms. Reid, for posting this on a gray, rainy day: perfect Otter weather.
I think I otter watch that again!
This is just deadly adorable.
Terri Lynn, I think you could have used an otter word, but you're right it is adorable! LOL. Thanks, Janet.

I just showed this trailer to my MG reader, and now he wants to read the Otter books.
