This post is a bit magical to me. The Tetons are central in the novel I am pitching, 'again damn it' and the whole Teton Range is wallpaper on my computer.
I love how animals don't read the books about themselves and constantly surprise humans with how much we still don't know about them. For instance, researchers who I know who are following cougars now have discovered they are not necessarily solitary animals like they have been portrayed like forever! I hope we learn more about animals before we wipe out their whole habitats.
Ahh! Makes my heart thump. Worked in Yellowstone 5 months way back when black and grizzly bears were seen everyday. Cut my photographic teeth there until joining the infantry.

I'm thinking the coyotes better watch out when those cubs grow up...
