I love doing the Chum Bucket query experiment but the timing is less than ideal.
Let me know if you have a preference about day of week and time of day.
Here's a poll for that
Also, I may switch to receiving the queries during that time period but answering later.
Let me know what you think about that too.

It's something nice that's fun for us. An announcement on twitter when you want to do it would work. I would keep the instant response time. It is the reliable comfort that makes it appealing.
I agree with Michelle with posting something on Twitter. That way, we know when you've posted or plan on it. I just naturally check every weekend but the heads up is appreciated. BTW, love the Chum Bucket!
I will take whatever I can get, personally! If you respond synchronously or not doesn't matter, though the instant gratification is a nice treat. I like Saturday evenings b/c there is no work conflict and someone else is around to watch the kids. I've been whipping my manuscript into shape after your comments. So glad for your two cents!
I think you'd even be fine with the time changing each week - give a bit of advance notice on Twitter and the blog, of course, but it would encourage more people to follow you on Twitter!
Oh, gosh, don't do it just by Twitter.
I mean, you totally CAN, of course, and I love that you're doing it, but I'm never going to be able to figure it out. (I understand Twitter, but don't have internet so can't follow as regularly.)
I personally like the weekend, since I can hope to participate without work problems (if I make arrangements). But, again, since you're doing it as a favor, whatever works best for you.
And thanks, too. I really appreciate the Chum Bucket.
Hey, you're the meat eater, you set the sit-down time. That you're gracious enough to do this is one thing but asking what's best for us...who are you and what did you do with the shark?
Whenever it suits you the best should be the time, even if it's not the same each week. You are truly lovely to do this, and it is MUCH appreciated!! So thank you!!
Thank you for asking, but as you are doing it as a favour to all your chums, whatever works for you.
I'm on the other side of the world and I'm the wrong chum genre - and unless you want major advertisement I probably wouldn't tweet.
GAH! No Twitter. You asked us to keep it relatively quiet and I think it has stayed in house. If you vary, then announce it here. I also like the "submit in this window, answer in another" variant.
You are doing this as a gracious service, so whatever works for you, Oh-Finny-One.
Terri
