I think it would make a great tattoo. I'd happily get it on my right shoulder. The left is already occupied by a skull and roses, and most of my back is covered with Celtic knot work (horses, dragons, etc.), and my right wrist has a fleur-de-lis. What's one more at this point, and it has BOOKS! and a sweet little bird. And love IS epic! :)
I have a bare back, an empty palette, so to speak. Why not tattoo all of the books listed in narrative form.
a-hem,
The Temptation Unravels with Hemlock Until I Die. Immortal Hearts have A Want so Wicked to behold a Dreamless Ar(i)se and Something Strange.
Of course, my apologies to Ms. Hudson for taking liberties with the title of her work.
Gotta go, my appt. with Mr. Inky is in fifteen minutes. I'll submit my 400K MS titled THE FALL AND RISE OF NERO, tomorrow, that includes footnotes. It's epic and a love story all rolled into one.
It definitely is a reminder when you're out of your league. I don't do self induced pain. I think I am more from the age when we let T-shirts make our statements, rather than something quite so permanent. It is better, I think, to bow out gracefully.
That would make a cool tattoo! Come on finalists...take one for the team! She could have suggested you get a shark tattoo. Although, that would also be a cool tattoo.
And if you add epicreads.com to the tat, maybe they would pass along a few bucks for advertising.

Would you prefer mid-forehead or left buttock?

It is catchier than "Pretty girls looking serious outside at night." (Which I mean in the nicest possible way - they all look like fun.)
I'm out. I m an utter needlephobe. (Seriously, I gave birth sans drugs, because I'd rather suffer than get a needle in my spine.)

My daughter's boyfriend is applying the ink to my right ankle as I'm typing. Yay! I win!
I'm with Britni -- painful! (though i could be tequila or novacaine induced!) I do like the permanent homage to books ;)
It wouldn't match my dragon tattoo :P

Good luck to all.
Muahaahaaa! Janet, you truly are evil. I will die laughing if the winner shows up at Backspace with a "Love is Epic" tattoo.
... That's true. I could PAINT it onto my skin. I've got three drawers of gouache and a new Kolinsky brush to break in.
(I don't have anything against tattoos. If needles weren't involved, I'd love to have one.)
I'm totally back in! With paint! Hell, I'll even paint my baby. Does that count double points?
