There's a terrific dog who needs a person: details here

Awwww. She is gorgeous. Wrong coast and we are waiting until our oldest has decided he's had enough of this life - 17 with lots of cancer, but not ready to give up being pampered.

I'm sure someone will jump at the chance to adopt this baby.

I tweeted a link to the site you linked to; she is CUTE. I wish I could rescue her. I will also see if any of my family in NYC is looking to adopt a dog.

Before I even clicked the link, I thought she had a bit of pit bull around her muzzle. Clicked it and there it is. That's probably why she's in the shelter.

I hope she finds a home. Even pitbulls, despite their bad rap, can be wonderful family pets. It's their owners who don't train their dogs that tend to be the morons of the pack.

Sadly, pit bulls are banned here in Ontario, or I would forward her to friends and family.I hope she finds a home soon- what a lovely dog she is.

And thank you for helping to spread the word about Urgent's FB rescue page; they do amazing work with local rescues in trying to save so many unwanted dogs who end up getting killed on a daily basis in the NYC city shelter system.

Oh, who's cute? She's cute. I wish I could have a dog live with me, because I would put myself forward as a candidate immediately.

Razza-frazza allergies.

I'm on the wrong coast and in an apartment that doesn't allow dogs, but I hope she finds a home soon! And thanks for being compassionate enough to post about an animal that needs one. There are far too many animals that do.

omgoodness Janet this just made me adore you.

I'm in Sarah's town unfortunately - been a longtime foster of pitbulls and this girl sounds like a dream!
