I've always struggled with summer reading choices--too many good ones out there.
Now I realize I've been going about things the wrong way. Currently standing by my aquarium, seeing if I can interest the fish in the project. Wondering where to get tiny fish-size spectacles.
Those dogs are amazing. Next year, can they pick the Pulitzers?
So cute. The one on the right looks so happy. The pug on the left looks like he's already read all those books, and is kind of insulted that you haven't brought more.

We could start by reading the winning entry in your "Impromptu Writing Contest!"
Snort...Woof.
Real books taste much better than electronic ones.
Marley and Me?
Lassie Come Home?
Clifford?
Carl?
Awwwww...TOO cute.
I'm a-gunna try to read "The Room." Been wanting to get to it for some time now.
Hope you had a great trip, Janet. Although I don't detect any tan lines on the doggies. Am I to assume they didn't get to go with you?
LOL. looks just like my pug and just like my glasses.
i may or may not have done my own version of this photo at home. ;)

Aww, that is *adorable.*
But really, my summer reading list is going to depend on what the library has, and how many books of theirs I can devour. Nom, nom.
I am planning on reading "Pieces of my Sister's Life" and "Never Too Hot" this summer. I may even read "The Geometry of Sisters".
I am planning on listening to "I Don't Know How She Does It" and "Rocket Men" this summer when I go back and forth to work.
However, if you have better recommendations please list them.

OBEY THE PUG!
snarf snerk grunt.
Most of my reading is done with Pug assistance. Can't go wrong!
I go through 3-4 novels a week, so my list would be a long one. Three that are on my must-read list—God willin' an' the creek don't rise—are:
Love You More
The Last Child
County Line
Hmmm...those look like my daughter's two pugs, Izzy and BJ. Did you visit her. I know that they'd pick "Dog Day Afternoon".
Pug... in... glasses... READING... BOOKS...
SQUEEEEEE!!!
Sorry, couldn't help myself.
I hope to get a Nook for Mother's Day so I'll be writing down all the ideas (think I'll give my credit card a workout).
I've got THE HELP, DELIRIUM and XVI on my list.
I know, I'm behind. It happens.
THAT is really cute. It may have made me want a pug more than a book, though.
Hehe, very cute - but I feel scared enough to read all of those books right now, what with the fearsome canine "muscle" looming over me. ;)
Perhaps the furry ones could suggest a CSI/NCIS-type crime novel with strong female protagonists?
I like explosions, and a writer with a good sense of humor. What do you recommend?
