It is a bit of a challenge that Janet would be spending time in Santa Fe, it is after all, the highest state capital in the nation. At 7000 feet above sea level - how does a Selachimorpha survive?
I love New Mexico. If you get a chance to visit Chaco Culture National Historic Park, it'll be a priceless experience. it's one of the most special places in the world & not many North Americans even know it exists. Here's a link to a few pics. http://tinyurl.com/67hu4l7

"The Big Chile." -- I love this.
I love it almost as much as the idea of going to a place where the snow isn't camouflaging the Spring potholes.
Hey, you're a lot closer to my neck of the woods. I live north of New Mexico in Colorado. Hope you enjoy your time out west!!

If you like spas, check out 10,000 waves near Santa Fe. Go to any restaurant that serves sopapillas, and cafe pasqual's is pretty good too.
Have a spicy time.
Have a great time!
Santa Fe is just so gorgeous -- great food! Hope you have a wonderful time in the Southwest and share some tales with us when you get back. :)
Have fun :)
