That is - oh, lovely, amazing. If I had been there I might have had to sit down.
The Messiah is special to me - tonight was the first night this year I played it for my girls - all through the preparation and eating of dinner, then baths. My dad used to play it on the record player when we were small.
And this one is double warm fuzzies for me: according to the "Thanks" section, my old college singing group was there! The Penn Singers Light Opera Company!
I've heard the Mormon Tabernacle Choir perform the Hallelujah Chorus live during the Christmas season, and I can tell these shoppers witnessed something just as incredible. Such a wonderful way to spread joy.
As a note, I'd LOVE it if the MoTab did a flash mob performance in public sometime. That would be awesome.
Awesome! My high school chorus class performed The Messiah one year for our Christmas concert. I was in the first soprano section and we actually had to get outside (adult) help because parts of this song got so high, most of us couldn't sing it. Well, at least without sounding like mice and looking like tomatoes. :D

That's a great one! I love the one in the food court as well.

This song always gives me chills.
I know someone who was there. Amazing!!
Breathtaking.
If anyone ever does this with "Let all Mortal Flesh Keep Silent," I might expire in sheer joy and goosebumps.

I was going to send this link to you a few weeks ago. Or...ummm...maybe I did? My brain is fried by edits. Anyway, I love it and knew you would too!
Swoon.
Just one more reason why I love New York.
