YOU will recall there was an arc of YOU in the office recently. LOTS of people wanted it:
The contest for YOU drew quite a few entries, AND one distinctly evil evil evil hijacker!
Fortunately I was able to track The Hijacker to her hideout, hinder her hijinx and hie away with YOU safely stuffed in my satchel!
She'll live (maybe!)
It took awhile to post the winner because there's a Very Special Extra Dose of Amazing: the arc of YOU is now signed by the author! Thank you Charles Benoit!
And now, to the entries!
Best use of Peter Rubie in a contest entry!

Here's her comment:
Oh where, oh where is the ARC of YOU?
You search and search for the right clue.
You monitor Janet's excellent blog,
Until your poor brain is lost in a fog.
Then you are on the edge of your seat,
When you notice a really good tweet.
YOU's on the desk of Suzie Townsend,
Somewhere near her deft mouse hand.
How to get it I'll tell you,
I'll say please and, of course, thank you.
Laurie Lamb, you are the winner of YOU!
(send me your mailing address for the prize!)
YOU was indeed exactly where Laurie thought it was:
and all she had to do was say "please!"
I know...very very devious.

Thank you, Janet. Thank you, Suzie.
Thank you, Charles Benoit. I am so excited that I won the arc of YOU! This was the best contest ever!
You thought that was fun. You enjoyed the antics.
Well...you would be right on both counts.
You are fun, but you come with a painful bite.
Congrats Laurie lamb.
Great job!
It's so nice to be noticed! Thanks for a fun contest.
So...Laurie, buddy, pal. Want to go out for a beer?
excellent!
Deranged?
*look of shock*
The Shark thinks I'm deranged?
*quivery lip quivers*
I am not deranged!
*looks sane... ish *
See? I'm perfectly, not even a little bit...
Bwaa haa haa haa!
*runs around maniacally. *
Ahem.
What was I saying? Oh, yeah:
Congratulations Laurie! Enjoy the read. :-)
HA! Awesome!
Yay Laurie! Way to go and thanks to the shark and the evil hijacker for the superbly excellent contest!

Well done, Laurie!!!
Congrats on the victory!
Thank you...I'm just happy to be nominated, of course. It's an honor.
Congrats, Laurie!!!
Curses!
Does her laptop match her shirt in that photo? That's awesome.
Congrats, Laurie! Very observant of you.
This was a fun contest, a nice way to procrastina-- um, a good writing break.
I'm definitely putting YOU (no, not you) on my Must Buy list. Writing in second person, and doing so without it being irritating as hell to read, is incredibly difficult. After reading the praise for this book, I can't wait to see how Benoit pulled it off. Must be a very talented writer -- one of my favourite things.
So envious....
Ah well, I'll be moving back in near my favorite indie bookstore almost exactly when it comes out. Woo!
hey... grats laurie! :)
You never know.
Nice headgear. Slithery fedora!
Congratulations Laurie, very observant. Hooray for YOU!

Disqualified?! Well, I never! ;)
Congrats Laurie! Very fun.
