This is a good looking TBR pile ;)
How exciting! Enjoy those! I must study the picture and look for further information. You may have helped me grow my to-be-read list from 19 to a lot more than that.
Ohh! I'm tempted to check out Amberville. I must say I quite enjoy the title.Happy reading!
Good stuff! I'm jealous. :-D
That looks exciting. You know, an unexpected consequence of reading agent blogs that I hadn't anticipated is the number of books that have been added to my wish list. I look at this stack, and at least four of those titles have me saying, "Ooh, that's a great title. I have to look that up." From this site in particular. :) I think we have similar taste.
Where's the next Charlaine Harris?
Oooooo I hear The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie is very good. Though I'm sure they're all good, naturally!
Bag the queries and go for the good stuff! Life's too short =)
Happy reading. I must say I'm impressed with the pile.xxAM
Yesterday's blog picture was pretty, but today's is VERY pretty! Is anything more delicious than a stack of new books to read?
Excellent pile of books! You can never have to many! Happy Reading!
oooh I'd read Sweetness.. first.
We just moved house and I can't remember how many boxes were labeled either 'Mike's books to be read' or 'Donna's books to be read'. It was a lot, anyway. And of course we still buy them faster than we can ever read them.
Is she your Octo-American assistant? I imagine that her ability to multitask is a great asset. You have a very diverse workforce.
Janet - you might appreciate this one, too: "The Octopus Was Full of Judgement" http://unhappyhipsters.tumblr.com/post/354725045/the-octopus-was-full-of-judgement-dwell
"This Wicked World", along with "The Ghosts of Belfast" and "Ravens" were my best reads last year. "Dead Boys" by Lange is what turned me on to him. Still laugh about the elevator scene in one of the stories. Based on title alone, going to look into "Dope Thief". Thanks for the info.
OH MY goodness! Enjoy.
Great TBR lineup!
I think the octopus was a nice touch.
Looks like your octopus has first dibs ;)
Nothing quite puts a song in my heart like a box of books arriving in the mail. This stack looks fabulous!
Thanks, Janet! Hope you enjoy it. Dennis Tafoya
On behalf of everyone in the pile--query, not TBR--thanks for puttin' us first!LML
