Wow! Totally amazing. And yeah I know thats a cliche response but I was blown away. Best book trailer EVER! Indigo

That's the sort of provocative, eye-catching advertising that North American publishers seem to be missing.

The only time I see a book advertised on television is the occasional announcement that James Patterson & Co. plopped out another tome. With none of the visual drama and excitement the New Zealanders delivered.

Janet,

I did as you told me... and I'm glad I did. I feel just like that every time I open up a new [or old] book!

Thanks for sharing!

I want to see "The Making of the GOING WEST book trailer" when it's up. Now that was two minutes well-spent.

Yow! That's a beautiful piece of design work. I particularly liked the last 3 seconds.

Wow. How'd they DO that? It felt almost like a theme park ride.

(Wish I didn't have to listen so hard because I'm not too familiar with the NZ accent.)

Was I supposed to understand what he was saying? I didn't.

Visually stunning, but he read too fast and the music was too loud.

I love this. I have to get some books down from the shelf, show it to them and see if they can do it too.

Beautiful. So sorry for those who couldn't understand the words. The combination of words, sounds, animation was thrilling.

That was awesome! Thank you for sharing what should be an award-winning book trailer/promo.

I sort of like it a lot, but the book mutilation makes physically impossible for me to enjoy it.

Very cool! Thank you for sharing that. The amount of time and effort that must have gone into that staggers me. Just imagining the their excitement as it came together has me excited in turn.

If that was a real book - going west - I'd buy it. I'm intrigued. I've seen a few "book trailers" on U-tube and thought they were awesome.

Thanks for sharing this. It was great.

Utterly creative and stunning! It stops you in your tracks. Not easy to come up with things that will do that. Thanks for the link!!

Wow. Whoever came up with that is brilliant. I didn't have time to read all the comments, but I don't think you're supposed to be able to understand what he is saying. I love the format. Brilliant, plain and simple.

Amazing idea. The 'animation' had me hooked.
Would've been even better if I had gained the slightest idea of what the book was about.
