...and apparently, the secret of success is stirring coffee with your spectacles. Who knew?

Saw this yesterday, and it's worth another read today. Thanks for the re-post. :)

Yeah, the glasses as coffee stirrer was sort of strange...

Lessons to take away as a writer:

1. Don't fear rejection.
2. Fear of failure causes more physical reactions than actual failure.
3. If you meet Robert the Publisher, graciously decline coffee.
4. I now have a fear of old creamer and spectacles.

Oh wow. That was sweet. Thanks for the link. There's so much more to do in life than worry. . . It's such a buzz-kill, but so hard to NOT do.

Great article.

"Easier said than done, of course. But I'm going to make a conscious effort going forward."

Me too.

That was an awesome piece of writing as well as being good advice.

Most great accomplishments start with a little fear. It's what your confidence looked like as a small child.

I almost always agree with Moonrat, but where fear of failure is concerned, I feel compelled to quote the blurb from a bad horror movie: "Be afraid. Be very afraid."
