ow

I have a headache.

My migraines are noise-induced, or weather induced.

Yesterday, construction work ran for six hours outside my own front door.

To exit the building I would have needed to shimmy down the drain pipe.

I'll be under the duvet with a cold compress for most of the day.

Contest results to come. Sorry about the delay.

  1. Sorry to hear about your migraine. Construction is a BEAR -- and I'm insulting bears! Hope you feel better soon.

  4. Rest easy and take magnesium and don't let any of your clients stress you out today. Except for me.

    Sending you soothing vibes.

  8. Not a problem, reading them is the real fun, after trying to get one down on paper (archaic) yourself.

Hope you feel better soon, I understand, it is the end of the rainy season sinus stuff for me.

  9. OTOH ... construction!

Noise aside, it's one of the most positive words in our language.

  10. Ugh! I hope you're feeling better. *sending healing thoughts your way*

One of the worst things about living in this city is the seemingly incessant construction

  11. In high school, we thought my best friend's mother had been a pro wrestler.
Think of my amazement to see her now.
    Is the other lady you?
I hope I made you feel better.

  13. Feel better, Janet.

My head was set against me today as well. Tea, chocolate, protein, a walk, and an Aleve, and 16 hours later I'm right as rain.

I hope tomorrow is a better day for you!
