Sorry guyz!
Just got back from hanging out Elsewhere and as it turns out, Elsewhere didn't allow me access to the wifi network!
ARGH!!
I should have remembered my gmail passwords! And my blog passwords!
I change them often enough that I have to write them down,
and if I get to a place where I have to log on as someone else cause my computer is being snobbish
about "local wifi" ...well...let's not do that again.
Content resumes tomorrow!

OH NOES!!!
Just glad you're okay, back and nothing happened. Wondered where you'd gone.
That would be why I use LastPass though. I can login online anywhere so I'm never without all those pesky passwords I usually can't remember to save my life.
Hey, it's all good, we played nice...
At least you're not sick, thank God.
Good to see all is okay now.
Yay!
Welcome back!
I was like "Is it weird that I'm starting to get worried?"
So no one kidnapped the Queen. Phew!
At least you were only in the throes of wi-fi loss. Hope you had fun anyway and weren't like that girl in the Chevy commercial a year or so ago. The one that almost dove into the wood chipper after her phone.
Welcome back from the wilderness.
Hope, once your realized you couldn't get on wifi, you enjoyed your brief vacation away from cyberspace. We're glad your home.
Welcome Back QOTKU! May your reign over your dominion ne'er be interrupted by a Carkoonian WiFi Snuffing Dragon's breath again!
So glad the winged monkeys released you... I mean, yes, no WiFI ..that happens. In fact, it's much more likely than being waylaid by winged monkeys.
Yes, so Monday? See you then
Welcome back! Wi-fi and its firewalls will never fail to confound me. Hope your weekend was restful.
Elsewhere sounds like a Neil Gaiman novel. Glad you came back unscathed!!
Sometimes a spanner in the works end up being the much-needed break one didn't realise they needed.
I was starting to think the Duchess of Yowl decided you were giving entirely too much attention to Those Other Creatures and commanded your presence, immediately and permanently.
Hope you had a restful time away. I'm debating an internet-free July, but I'm not sure I could make it through even a weekend . . . evidence right there that I should do it.
Yay! Welcome back!
If you were in Elsewhere, Idaho, it's no wonder you didn't have wifi. The only wonder is that you made it out alive. Of course, there's probably a chance the story of the field trip to the only cave in Elsewhere, Idaho isn't one-hundred percent accurate. Maybe two of the kids from Ms. Ellison's class didn't escape only to run to the farmhouse of Mr. Ellison. I mean, what are the chances, right? But I do believe the part about how they've kept the Internet out of the town.
And any visitors who try to bring the Internet into town don't seem to ever return home. So how did you make it out? Or are you ... you?
I think -- and I'm just doing due diligence here -- I might need to send you a manuscript. Oh look, mine happens to be right here. The real Janet Reid would snatch this up. We'll get to the bottom of this Elsewhere
Janet... I'm so happy to hear your absence was a wonky WiFi and not something more serious. I'll use this opportunity (of a non-content post) to say a quick yet truly heartfelt thank you to everyone for all the PMs and notes, and especially your kindness regarding my brother. I know we shouldn't post personal stuff here, as it's obviously not the purpose of the blog, but man, it's sometimes tough to avoid as we care about each other. Brother Matt is now in hospice, but we are looking into medical transport to get him to our house (the sanctuary at Proud Spirit) so I can care for him (in conjunction with hospice) and he can die in peace surrounded by family.
Have you tried LastPass? It's a password manager and free and essentially it means you can have crazy secure passwords, but only have to remember a single one to access them all.
I hope you had a good break, though unexpected, in Elsewhere. Glad to have you back in wifi-land. We missed you.
And here I am a day late, (on my way to check today's post), and I find that your boat arrived in Carkoon rather late yesterday. Glad you made it after all.
I was convinced a net finally snared you and that were taken to (Boo-hiss) SeaWorld for exhibition. And then I realized, because of thrashing the fishermen would have thrown you back.
Kdjames, never be afraid to ditch the internet. I did so for six months once. Voluntarily. A few weeks isn't so bad.
