Sorry you aren't feeling well. Hope this is minor, and maybe the result of too much fun this weekend. Really hope it's not the beginning of the zombie apocalypse.
I think Colin hit it on the ice bag (or whatever that is on the pup's head), the entries are brilliant. I admire how an author can see the word 'actor' and get 'tractor' out of it. Next time there's a contest I'm going to see how many given words I can twist. I won't give up, Colin...in fact I may steal your idea and blog a flash once a week with random words, just for practice.
Oh Janet, I hope you didn't gorge on too much gorgeousness yesterday. Sometimes you have to take beautiful weather in small doses. I hope you feel better soon.
Oooh, and Gary Corby read all the FF! (Thanks for the info, Donna.) Sorry, Gary, I was going to add screenwriter to your card, but I ran out of words.
I'd be upset if that wasn't such a cute pic. Maybe we could trade puppy pics instead? I have an adorable one here to start us off!
ReplyDeleteAw, soooo cute! Hope it doesn't mean you have a killer headache, Ms Janet. If so, hope these puppy pics help with recovery.
ReplyDeleteHere's one I found.
Or maybe this is what you need?
ReplyDeleteAw, poor pup. Woof :(
ReplyDeleteI too, hope you are not a sick puppy.
ReplyDeleteTiny Dog Is Not Impressed
ReplyDeleteHere's hoping you're not sick, Janet :)
ReplyDeleteBonus Tiny Goat!
Le sigh.
ReplyDeleteLe sigh = tried to post a hyperlink and it was a failure.
ReplyDeleteDouble le sigh.
Hope you feel better soon Ms. Janet!
Donna, I didn't even try to link because my links are the weak ones.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon! (or whatever)
ReplyDelete
ReplyDeleteTake the day off and have some sushi...that may make you feel better.
Invite your chums?
Cheers!
ohno. Hope whatever it is that ails you passes soon.

ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteGiven the entries on Saturday, it's very possible our beloved QOTKU is suffering from an awesomeness overdose. I hope you recover soon, Janet!
ReplyDeleteI like Colin's diagnosis :D
ReplyDeleteOld family cure-all: 1 tbsp Scotch Whiskey diluted (or not)
ReplyDeleteSleep it off
I think Colin's on to something.... :)
ReplyDeleteTake care! Feel better soon!
FYI ya'll...
ReplyDeleteGo back and read comment #34 in yesterday's WIR! WHOOP! Gary Corby dropped in! WHOOP again!
Colin, maybe QOTKU had too much "awesome sauce?"
Donna: Sorry, but that's impossible. QOTKU's blood is made of awesome sauce. ;)

Hopefully this shows some good advice by a dog that looks a lot like mine.
Rats. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteHoping you're not sick QOTKU, but if you are, feel better soon!

ReplyDeleteI do hope that my Queen didn't get sick by divining what I was going to ask for as a prize whenever it is that I win.
ReplyDeleteI swear no one will get to see the autographed eight by ten glossy of you. At least not until the check for their admission clears.
