Upcoming query hiatus

I'm going to be on query hiatus from 6/1/13 to 9/31/13. um...9/30/13. (erp!)  No Chum Bucket then either, sorry to say. (You know how much I love the Chum Bucket!)

Any queries sent during the hiatus will receive a form reply asking they be sent again when the hiatus is over. I won't keep or store any queries.

Yes, I'm going to miss some good stuff, but the Fabulosity is looking a little perturbed at my pace these days. I think some of them have turned in their mice and mouse pads for sharper implements!

  1. Are you still going to do updates on Query Shark?

  2. yes. The Shark has been quiet of late, I know. Busy gnawing on her clients!

  3. But we can still snail mail you queries as long as there's glitter in the envelope, right?

  4. 9/31? Did September get another day?

  5. Maggie, well it should. It's a very nice well-behaved month. It should get bonus days instead of that stupid March with all that snow and blowy wind.

    (Thanks for pointing out...fixed!)

  8. I wanna know 1. who brought a BROOM to this party and 2. Why the mace is on a yo-yo string instead of either the thumb-guage chain or louisville slugger club where it could do some good?

  9. NotA,
That's MY broom. The mob stole it so I couldn't flee. That's not a mace, it's a cutting thingie, last seen in Octopussy starring Maude whatsis and Roger Moore. (Don't judge me for actually having seen that movie more than once ok??)

  10. You saw I finished a new book, and that was it, huh? Three months in hiding. Don't worry, I wouldn't have sent it to you, anyway. You terrify me! OK, all joking aside, we all know how hard you work and we all know everyone needs time to come up with new strategies in this changing marketplace. Enjoy the vacation. You will be missed. Unless you keep blogging. In which case you won't be missed, because you'll be here. Queriers and "fictional authors" (heh heh) will miss you

  11. "fictional authors" --them, I won't miss. The rest of all y'all...yup.

  12. I hope you'll still be blogging, even if it has nothing to do with publishing. You're a fun read.

Keep your comments succinct. Any comment that runs longer than 100 words is generally too long.

If you're commenting more than three times a day, it's too much.
