Remember all that waiting in line at BEA?






you thought this was to get one of the books for the Dark Days tour didn't you?


Well, it was actually practice for this:


 This morning, I walked into the school I’m supposed to vote in, made a U-turn, and went right back outside. The line was snaking up and down the hallways of the school! It looked like a mess! I’ll go again after work where I can sit on the floor and read my book for as long as it takes!

    East Coast voters inspired me. They raised their soggy voices yesterday in spite of the obstacles, lines and personal losses.

    The polling places had to be shifted around, combined etc, but people came out to vote. Still many many people who don't have power or their homes, everything gone. If you think the BEA line is long try the lines for gasoline!
    Everyone's hoping this new storm does make things even worse.

    No matter how long it is, I'm always happy to wait in line to vote! It makes me sad if I go during a supposed peak hour and there is no line.

    I voted early this year. There was a festive air, people tossing comments back and forth about a ballot initiative that nobody understood, but was vitally important to the local population, it concerned fishing boats.

    Hey, this is the midwest!

    Although I did miss the buzz and bustle of standing in line, it was still a win.
