FPLM salutes Ina May Gaskin

Ina May Gaskin has been awarded the 2011 Right Livelihood Award, sometimes known as the alternative Nobel.

We are thrilled to pieces to see her recognized:

 "... for her whole-life's work teaching and advocating safe, woman-centred childbirth methods that best promote the physical and mental health of mother and child."

    Oh, I LOVE her! As a Doula and Childbirth Educator, I've read and studied her books! Good for her!
