The Devotion of Translator X!

Ok, not quite X. We know his name.

There's a wonderful interview with the translator of  one of my favorite books: THE DEVOTION OF SUSPECT X in in Shelf Awareness. (Scroll down to the bottom of the column for it, it's the last one)

  1. After reading this interview, that book is now on my to-read list!

    Also, the series mentioned in the last part, The Twelve Kingdoms, is really great. I've been reading those for a while, they're amazing.

    More Japanese novels need to get translated. I'm learning Japanese so that I can read the ones that don't (like the work of Ryohgo Narita)...
