The Devotion of Translator X!
Ok, not quite X. We know his name.
There's a wonderful interview with the translator of one of my favorite books: THE DEVOTION OF SUSPECT X in in Shelf Awareness. (Scroll down to the bottom of the column for it, it's the last one)

ReplyDeleteAlso, the series mentioned in the last part, The Twelve Kingdoms, is really great. I've been reading those for a while, they're amazing.
More Japanese novels need to get translated. I'm learning Japanese so that I can read the ones that don't (like the work of Ryohgo Narita)...
