Yes, it's 38degrees today and it's not going to be much warmer this week. It's fitting that the announcement of Murder Goes South is up today: I'm heading south to the Peach State in January!

My favorite writer isn't. A writer I mean. I love following your blog because of your wonderful writing style and wish I could hear you some time. However, I am in sunny california and too far from the peach state. Good luck on your trip.

ReplyDeleteIt's 21 in Butte, Montana, and the frost is on the smashed pumpkins. Now I can get started on all the "winter projects" I have put off since last winter ended in May. :)

ReplyDeleteYou know, from my perspective in South Texas, Georgia is North. Very, very north, and in a climate where important things like rubber and human beings aren't melting into little puddles of chemical goo. Our forecast high for today is 90 degrees. I would be happy to give you 30 of those degrees to even our respective areas out. It'd be too late to save Halloween, though. The masks were one of the things that melted.
As much as I love NY and love living here...the cold does get to me after a while....the reason I spend a majority of my winter under an electric blanket.

I'll be there. I wouldn't have known about this if you hadn't posted. I'll tell my crit group about it. I'm having a mild panic attack but I'll definitely be seeing you. I drove my application in this afternoon. The librarian said "this is only the second aapilcation I've received, I think you're okay." Made me laugh a little- at myself.
ReplyDeleteIt's in the low 70's today. Hopefully it will be a little warm still in January. It depends on the year.
I was a bit confused until I remembered that you live in Fahrenheit. It's in the 30s where I live too, only we use the Celsius scale, which does make a rather big difference. Hope you enjoy your trip.
