Why I did not do so well in art class

I have zero sense of space and proportion.
I knew it then.
I relearned it now.

My score was so awful I'm not even saying what it was.
Feel free to share the shame!

  1. OMG, OMG, I got like third place or something!

    Neato!

  2. Uh, okay, so fourth place. Apparently I'm bad at eyeballing numbers.

  3. Fun!! 2.88

    My eyes are watering.

  4. 5.14, which is apparently just on the right (i.e., bad) side of average.

    Not too surprising.

  5. That's a freakishly addicting game--even though I wasn't that good at it. (6.0)

  6. 5.6 :-(

Thanks for another way to waste time! And during NaNoWriMO at that.

  7. 3.63 I'm not saying what the first one was, since I misunderstood what I was supposed to be doing and really screwed up one of them.

  8. I did not do very well either. I just am not really good when it comes to things like this. I am alright when it comes to doing it with a pencil and pad though.

  9. My eyeballs are bleeding! But I'm going to have to do it again!

  10. I scored "suckish." Who needs to know where the center of a triangle is anyway? (If anyone needs me, I'll be playing that stupid eyeball game.)

  11. I think I probably scored in the "suckish" range, too. Unacceptable. Will try again tomorrow. One must consider one's reputation.

    ps--test too long!

    pps---attention span too short!

  12. Yet another reason I shouldn't quit my day job. Thanks for the new challenge (distraction).

  13. 3.18 and that's only because my husband shook my elbow. Really.

  14. I didn't understand convergence, so I scored 368 on that one question, which kinda messed up my average.

    Addictive game!

(I think I like blue rectangles. They're so much simpler.)
    :-)

  15. I'm average. I like that you got to do everything three times.

  16. 8.6, which I think is pretty good considering. =o)

  17. Got 2.7 on second and last shot. Not bad, but not great considering I am a good carpenter.

    Now, back to writing.

  18. My eyes hurt, really. Good thing I already hate angles, and geometry, and stuff! :)

  19. 8.59 - does that mean I'm just plain blind?

  20. 3.62 and I cannot stop playing. I'm a graphic designer so I will not stop until I get under 1!

  21. oh jesus/ forget it, i failed geometry in high school AND in college

they forced me to take it 3 times :-(

  22. 4.22 on 2 hrs sleep and two dogs jostling my laptop.

  23. 3.58 for me; much better than I expected.

  24. I did better the second time (5.54) but not nearly as well as some of ya'll. I used to sew, and I'm pretty good at eyeballing measurements, so I excelled at centering the box inside the circle, and choosing the mid-points of shapes, but the parallelograms defeated me.

  25. Okay. All of these people in third or fourth place... pleeeaaazzzeee!

I did so super poorly that I won't even recount my score, and I tried several times, maybe four or more...

Do you remember the stupid criminal from the Planet Krypton in Superman II (I think his name was "Non") and how he continually tried to light something on fire with his eyes, like General Zod? But, he just never got any better?

Well, that's akin to how I felt trying to improve my score on that test.... It just didn't happen.

And I have taken art classes and thought that I did well in them..

  26. I'll admit my shame: 19.42.

Janet, does that make you feel any better?

  27. 15.77

    Hey, I'm a writer, not a mathematician!
