I love New York, I do

  1. Well, the cupcakes ARE pretty tasty.

  2. Oh, man, that's great! I couldn't help thinking that Martin Short must have contributed to the choreography.

  3. I was waiting for the Improv Everywhere logo to jump out. Did it, at the end? My computer cut off the last half...

  4. Oh my dog, the hugely pregant woman, dancing in high heels. Poor thing, her feet must have been killing her.

  5. Hey, I did this one time on Cape Cod after taking a bite out of a particularly well put together Chalupa!

It wasn't nearly so well received.

  6. I was waiting for the birth of the seventh Cupcake.

  7. Come and meet those dancing feet,
where the cupcake crew is taking you to,
    down on Bleeker Street!

Busby Berkeley is alive and well in New York City!

  8. Fun - but it makes me wonder what they would do if they were in Portland, Oregon to celebrate Voodoo Donuts?....

  9. That Voodo that you do so well?

I'm still trying to figure out which one of the dancing girls was singing in a hearty baritone.

  10. It was the "girl" with the broad shoulders and size 12 pumps, Jonathan.

Man, I so want a cupcake now.

  11. Send those ladies to Arkansas... we could use a good luck mojo dance like that before Duck season!

    Haste yee back ;-)

  12. Cathy, I swear, I thought she was just big-boned and sturdy. But just because I'm highly myopic doesn't mean I lack vision.

Haste Yee Back ;-), to quote one D. Duck:

    It's not duck season!
    It's rabbit season!
    Shoot the rabbit!

  13. The magnolia girls may do a great dance... but Cup Cake Cafe cupcakes rule.

  14. I don't mind waiting in line there.

  15. Jonathan,
Ya only rabbit hunt after cold snaps - kills the sick ones.

I don't want these New York City niebelungen to be all bundled-up when they dance. Spoils the Duck mojo!

    Haste yee back ;-)

  16. Makes me glad to live in Los Angeles, where cupcake shops come and go uncelebrated in dance.

There's a particularly good one at the bottom of my hill. My guess is that if someone in a pink dress showed up there and started dancing, they'd call the cops.

  17. Well, I just hope they get paid well.
