Launching a debut author is always a nail biter!
After the agent, the editor, and the publisher all think "yes, this one can sell" the book goes out into the world.
Then the first good reviews come in, and oh boy is it nice.
This is what's happening right now to my client Amy Meade. Her first book, MILLION DOLLAR BABY is coming out soon from Midnight Ink.
Kirkus was kind (big relief!!) and now a review from the folks at an online mystery site Who-Dunnit.
The mystery websites are really important cause it's where those of us who love those books look for what's good.
What a great day!!!
