Otherwise you find yourself without more Sookie books to read and this is bad.

I have been rationing them. Started reading about a year and a half ago and am now on book five (Dead as a Doornail).Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05843532861420448773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17040756.post-44872249879203021952010-01-18T05:01:53.653-05:002010-01-18T05:01:53.653-05:00Oooh, congrats on discovering the charm and joy th...Oooh, congrats on discovering the charm and joy that is Sookie. I love her plain-speakin', vampire lovin' & hatin' ways.

I try to space out my series reading, so I'm only on number 8 (From Dead to Worse) even though I started reading her in late '08.

Here's to more staycations that cost less than $30.Venus Vaughnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01948376896570994277noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17040756.post-61488027631386072372010-01-18T04:15:24.687-05:002010-01-18T04:15:24.687-05:00That's exactly how I felt when I read them! I actually enjoy discovering a series "late," because then there are (hopefully) several books, and the "vacation" lasts longer :-).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17040756.post-64396185213065297482010-01-17T19:02:50.258-05:002010-01-17T19:02:50.258-05:00Well, if you ever need a massage vacation, give me...Well, if you ever need a massage vacation, give me a hit.Ronda Laveenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03902846545309643023noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17040756.post-7680954872892782542010-01-17T13:01:45.664-05:002010-01-17T13:01:45.664-05:00At the risk of sounding anti-reading (which I am n...At the risk of sounding anti-reading (which I am not), isn't that kind of a busman's holiday? On second thought, I guess not. You're more used to slushier material and bloody chum.

Still, should you feel the need for a mini-vacation next week I recommend the Tim Burton exhibit at MOMA. As inadequate as this word is, I'm still going to describe it as neat.

Alternatively you can get into a move before noon at the AMC near Lincoln Square for only $6. Then you can get hotdogs at Grey's Papaya for lunch and a hot chocolate at Jacques Torres. A long walk in the park afterwards to alleviate the guilt of indulgence and I promise you still won't be ready to go back to work.mallardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12027376257447878531noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17040756.post-10725162547430015922010-01-17T12:10:36.340-05:002010-01-17T12:10:36.340-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17040756.post-43028076537242135642010-01-17T12:01:17.382-05:002010-01-17T12:01:17.382-05:004 books in a day?4 books in a day?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17040756.post-46262363837811586792010-01-17T11:57:08.308-05:002010-01-17T11:57:08.308-05:00I love the Sookie Stackhouse books - I was addicte...I love the Sookie Stackhouse books - I was addicted in minutes :DBeckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03513025530989222637noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17040756.post-81157977658680817852010-01-17T08:00:34.545-05:002010-01-17T08:00:34.545-05:00I took a reading vacation yesterday, too.
