It really does provide services that help people.

My brother-in-law (age 51) and nephew (age 25) both have the disease and the MS Society has been stalwart for them. My sister walks a 50-mile fundraiser every year, raising money for research toward a cure.

Brenda B. in MaineBrenda Buchananhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14161539130987122737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17040756.post-9640011069865958082011-04-23T14:27:42.546-04:002011-04-23T14:27:42.546-04:00I am continually in awe of the bravery and generou...I am continually in awe of the bravery and generousity of those around us. Yesterday, Peggy Gerke loaded up a rented van with hundreds of bags of beans and rice, donated meat, books, towels, and 3000 plastic eggs filled with jellybeans and headed out for her Easter Weekend. No big deal, right?
Except Peggy headed over the border, into the most violent place in the world. Nuevo Laredo. (From Austin, TX). Why? Because all relief efforts for the thousands of stranded and desperate immigrants--mostly women and children--has understandably ceased. Peggy said the children needed the eggs.
Wow.
Barbara DeShong
Mysteryshrink.comMysteryShrinkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14034207861274506238noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17040756.post-67387818676577061462011-04-22T23:08:42.577-04:002011-04-22T23:08:42.577-04:00Thank you for the reminder, I see miracles in my l...Thank you for the reminder, I see miracles in my life and get bogged down and forget that I should be grateful.C.
