Blog Hiatus Day Twelve
Just as The Duchess of Yowl could have her own feature film, so could Whiskey, the brown pup. His would be called Ferris and Whiskey’s Day Out. The white dog, Gotti, is a cuddle buddy when rejections arrive. A job for everyone!!

These two are precious... Just look at those fluffy, floppy ears. I can't help but notice the window that goes nearly to the floor. Perfect for pups!
ReplyDeleteFuzzbutts! They're adorable. :)
ReplyDeleteThat’s their favorite spot! I’m told that when I leave, even if it’s for days, they never leave that spot, just staring out the window hoping I’ll show up. They love their window, but I always feel like Whiskey is planning his next escape. He once jumped out of the window of my slowly-moving car. I had to run through an uppity neighborhood in my pajamas yelling for whiskey! Surprised I didn’t end up in handcuffs.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking something similar about that window, Melanie. Looks like a good spot for sunning and seeing what's going on outside. Such cute pups. They look so huggable. I must pet my sweet ones now.
ReplyDeleteVery cute, these two! Whiskey looks like he's ready for adventure, and Gotti looks like the perfect lap-warmer (not mob boss). Great pillow, too. Juno and Zuzu would approve :-)
ReplyDeleteIn your pajamas, yelling for whiskey! Ha! They're adorable, Sherry.
ReplyDeleteSherry - just saw your story. Hilarious! Glad it ended well!!
ReplyDeleteSherry! I'm so glad you commented. I love knowing who all these critters live with. And HA! on the pj story. So glad Whiskey was rounded up safely.
ReplyDeleteI understand that "waiting for you to come home" thing. While I've loved every dog we've taken in, my Gunny was a once in a lifetime friend. He was my heart dog, my canine soul-mate. His death, at 17 y/o, gutted me. I took him with me wherever I could. My best book signings were with him sitting by my side. If I had to leave him home, he wouldn't eat. For days. UGH!
Anyhoo... I've absolutely loved seeing these photos. Janet, thanks again for doing this. So fun.
Lovable cuties for sure, Sherry. They must bring you great comfort.
