Blog hiatus Day One

Juno and Zuzu
Here’s a shot of Juno and Zuzu climbing the beach path at Fort Funston in San Francisco, aka "Dog Paradise.” Zuzu’s sporting the toothy grin.

Juno is 13-1/2 years old, and still pretty spry. She is devoted to tennis balls and food (especially Zuzu’s food).

Zuzu is 11 years old and a bit of a nervous wreck, but she’s our nervous wreck, so we love her.

The girls have no opinion on WIPs, except the one I wrote about them, which naturally gets 10 woofs out of 10.

  1. What a great shot. Zuzu looks like a very happy girl, and why wouldn't she be with that sand and surf to frolic about in with her BFF?!

  6. Keep wagging, girls! I think all your human's manuscripts should be about you two.

  8. Thanks so much for your kind comments, everyone! Juno and Zuzu are the best of companions, but they're a little miffed I left them home today and had an adventure without them. They'd be doubly miffed if they knew I spotted a coyote. He was leaping about a meadow, searching for coyote snacks!

  9. I won't let Biggles see this as I don't think he's ever quite forgiven us for moving to a landlocked city after a lifetime of living near the beach. Claire, they are a pair of cuties.

  10. Those dogs have the kind of attitude that makes you want to meet their owner. I would say that even if it wasn't Claire. I already know that she is special, she appreciates Laura Nyro too.
