PS I know I am shouting to the wind here and almost everyone is sick with some different non-flu malady currently, but will everyone just get the graddarn flu vaccine next year, please!!! :D So much needless suffering!
Opps! It seems that all my thoughts didn't transfer from my brain to the computer! I meant to say, all of the above is good in a cup of steaming hot tea. What? - Okay, tea is optional.
Hope you feel better. Take spoonfuls of honey and lemon. Works wonders!! Then treat yourself to a nice cup of hot chocolate. If chocolate can't cure it, you're doomed. ;)

Hope you feel better soon! It's traveling up and down the East Coast...whatever "it" is...

Mixing whiskeys prolongs illness.
ReplyDeleteStick with a single barrel.
That's right, a whole barrel.
Drink up, drown a cold, flood a flu, sister.
The crud's going around. Feel better soon. I've never commented before, but I read your blog all the time and I love it :)
ReplyDeleteHahah @Terri! :D And to all a good night!

Being sick sucks. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteAwww... sorry to hear that...
ReplyDeleteHere's a nice little bit of fish guts to help you feel better ~~~
Bet the land of the dead is a livelier place with you in it, even sick. Get well soon!
Don't be long.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the resurrection.

ReplyDeleteGet better soon. We are as rudderless, spineless, and transparent as jelly fish.
ReplyDeleteBeen there, done that. I recommend plain water, much sleep, and episodes of Miss Fisher's Mysteries, available on Netflix and Acorn TV.
ReplyDelete*limps in, exchanges out empty scotch bottle and cupcake wrappers*
ReplyDeleteAnd, what Lance said . . .
Terri
Chewing airborne, washing my hands, and wishing you a speedy recovery — bit of a phobe.
ReplyDeleteRest well in the darkness of the deepest depths. Don't let the 'pressure' of the Mariana get to you.
ReplyDeleteAnd...Ditto Lance.
Still the post-it? What in the wide world of sports happened to you, Janet?
ReplyDeleteTerri;
ReplyDeleteHow you doing with those dead soldiers and cupcake replenishment duties.
If you need I can spell yah!
Let me know!
Get well soon Sharque!
Cheers...gettin a little worried here.
Feel better! I miss my daily shark post!
ReplyDeleteThe heck with Sochi, Janet's done hill run is one for the record books.
ReplyDeleteI get a little more worried every morning I open your blog and see the Post-it note is still there. Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteIt's been a week, so I hope you are on the mend at last, because it's lousy being sick.
ReplyDeleteI think we'd all be happy to see just a small part of a fin circling in the ocean to know that you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThen again, don't mind us...we just miss you, that's all.
Please get well soon, Janet!
ReplyDeleteI'm worrying a little too - this has got to be the PITS.
ReplyDeleteA week in, this is more worrying than just missing our daily entertainment. Get well soon!
ReplyDeleteWhoa, Janet... these still waters are getting worrisome. Hope you're OK.
ReplyDeleteWhat? Baby sloth in bucket didn't work magic? Hmmm.
ReplyDeleteWhatever it is, I'm day nine into it myself, and this mess is harder to get rid of than mold under one's house.
I believe that jellyfish Lance mentioned has taken up residence in my head and chest.
Now that I've left you with that nice visual - Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
