Fear is a pretty good motivator. I've got a draft of one book sitting around, full of beta comments and waiting for revision. (I'm doing a second draft on another book first, not just putting this one off.) I'm terrified to look at it because I can't believe some of the mess I wrote, but I'm more terrified that it will always suck if I don't look at it.
Sounds as if it would be equally effective--and circumvent the difficulty of getting a concealed blunderbuss permit--to fix him up a whiskey-filled barrel and spigot.
Keep your comments succinct. Any comment that runs longer than 100 words is generally too long.
If you're commenting more than three times a day, it's too much.
Civility is enforced. Spelling/grammar mistakes may be pointed out ONLY in the blog post itself, not in any of the ensuing commenter's contributions.
If your comment doesn't show up, it's most likely that Blogger ate it. Try posting again using a GoogleID. (comment moderation is on only for older posts)

ReplyDeleteYour post was funny and so is his! Thanks for a laugh this morning and also teaching me what a blunderbuss is.
