FPLM field trip: Charles Yu

Charles Yu is amazing.  Just frigging amazing.  His short story "Sorry Please Thank You" just blew me off my chair, and straight to the cash register.  Fortunately I was at McNally Jackson  so a cash register was handy.

Charles Yu has a special place in my heart because his agent used to sit across the desk from me and I was there when we got the news he'd been selected one of the 5 under 35 in 2007. I loved his first book starting with the title: THIRD CLASS SUPERHERO, and his subsequent books have all been startling and amazing.

But this one, this collection. This one just took my breath away.  Read it. See for yourself.
