yowza!

Laird Barron "is a writer who comes closer than any artist I can name in capturing the whole shebang of humanity’s place in the cosmos. If you think that’s a crazy exaggeration, you haven’t read his fiction. Read it."  --Seattle PI

  1. Am I the only one who thinks this is a weird sentence: "From Laird Barron, Shirley Jackson Award-winning author of The Imago Sequence and Occultation, comes The Croning, a debut novel of cosmic horror."

How can an award-winning author have a debut?
