Are you in San Antonio TX on July 21?

  1. I live here in SA and will definitely try to get to this author event. The Twig is a great bookstore near the banks of the San Antonio River.

Currently reading The First Rule, by Robert Crais. I picked this up after you mentioned him in your blog post earlier this week. Wow, can't put it down. Glad to be introduced to this author!

  3. I've got to get over there from my home base in Brenham. Duane Sweirzyski just did a signing there and had good things to say about the place.

  4. Awww. Wish I could be there. I own an ol' black mustang gathered off BLM land. She was a challenge to break in, and it took several years. But now, she's a joy to ride, and a downright useful work horse. Great for ponying the colts off of. She works harder than the average horse, on rocky terrain, completely barefoot. Love her to death.

  5. I'm about three hours away in Houston, but it might as well be the moon with all my responsibilities right now.

I would love to go to this! Anyone want to babysit 2 teens, a toddler, and a helpless husband? Plus fill in as accountant on the dayjob with bosses all out of town next week?

I'm going to be first in line if they ever get that cloning thing down.

  6. The Gulf Coast is not that far from Australia, is it? Here's some more shark news from the great reef:

Keep your comments succinct. Any comment that runs longer than 100 words is generally too long.

If you're commenting more than three times a day, it's too much.

Civility is enforced. Spelling/grammar mistakes may be pointed out ONLY in the blog post itself, not in any of the ensuing commenter's contributions.

If your comment doesn't show up, it's most likely that Blogger ate it. Try posting again using a GoogleID. (comment moderation is on only for older posts)
