  1. wow-- Watched this with my 3 and 5 year old boys. I screeched, they said "wow" and "awesome" and "Can i do that when I grow up." I said yes.

  2. I'm actually not sure what impresses me more: the stunts or the filmmaking! Thanks for the link, Janet!

  4. Wow. We did the same trip across Scotland in 2001, and was our favourite trip, with such stunning landscapes, warm, sunny days (well, until we hit the bridge to Skye) and wonderful, hospitable people. We thought we were brave driving on the left side of the road- apparently, we were going about it all wrong.

    Thank you so much for reminding me why Scotland is stunning. By the way, Janet, I know you've been to Nova Scotia- same terrain, just bigger and longer. You must find your way there if you haven't already. It is such an awesome landscape.

    @Margaret Yang:

    I'm with you---he makes it look so effortless, like a ballet dancer.

  8. Really Good Dog, Really Good Dog. I spent weeks on assignment photographing the Highlands and the Isle. Skye MacKinnon lives there, encircled by sheep and yearns to write about love. A WIP novel.

  9. Fabulous! My current WIP figures a bike messenger (who does parkour for fun) and Danny MacAskill is one of the inspirations for the story. Thanks for sharing more of his vids - I hadn't seen these.

  13. Would you be interested in seeing a query for a parkour-centric novel?
