  1. After your intro I set down the coffee first. Glad I did.

  2. If I hadn't already caved and started reading the Avery Cates series, this one would have done it.

Sean Ferrell and Jeff Somers are now tied (IMO) for best example of how to promote one's work. Neither advertise their books so much as their voices and personalities (hoo-boy), and I'm sure that's why their vids---"voicetrailers," maybe?---are so effective.

Are all your clients like this? Because I'm in awe.

  3. I didn't even know who that was. (Sorry, I'll crawl back under my rock now.) But that was hilarious. Not a thriller sort of reader, but I may have to take a peak at that sometime anyway. Neat how he essentially plugged two books in one light hearted blurb.

  5. Bwahahahaha!!!!! I was already laughing over Wednesday's post about your phone call, so now I'm doubled over.

I know you're supposed to be some crusty agent, but your blog always cheers my day.

  6. Jeff's a funny guy and a camera natural.

Just wondering: Do you get a sales spike after these things are posted?

  7. Oh, who are we kidding? These guys BOTH rock.

    Just sayin'.

Keep your comments succinct. Any comment that runs longer than 100 words is generally too long.

If you're commenting more than three times a day, it's too much.

Civility is enforced. Spelling/grammar mistakes may be pointed out ONLY in the blog post itself, not in any of the ensuing commenter's contributions.

If your comment doesn't show up, it's most likely that Blogger ate it. Try posting again using a GoogleID. (comment moderation is on only for older posts)
