Umm, do you sleep? Ever? I think I read somewhere that sharks have to remain in constant motion...something to do with how they breathe. That must be it.
Sharks have to keep moving because they have no other way of pumping enough water through their gills; however, in some oxygen-rich parts of the ocean, they can rest.
