Three guesses!

No! It's how we must fold your letter when you send a query letter and a too-small envelope. #10 Envelopes are long enough to fold an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper in a trifold. That's the correct sized envelope to send.

  2. Yes, a flamingo would be good. You can never have too many flamingos. Except for those plastic lawn flamingos. One of those is one to many. :)

    Always use SELF-ADHESIVE envelopes (not the kind that need licking)

    Always use FOREVER stamps

    And NEVER clip the postage to your SASE (stick in right on the envelope)

    And NEVER use those International Reply Coupons

  5. Hey, this is what I do to my rejection letters! I have a basket of them on my desk. They watch while I write and sometimes I ask them for advice. Unfortunately, they're still a bit shy and have yet to open their beaks and offer assistance. Anyone have any spare fairy dust?
