Could not have said it Be(n)tter myself!

Jenny Bent's new blog is full of good stuff. Her post today on new versus experienced agents is a must read for anyone getting ready to query.

I echo what she says (right down to Yay, Holly Root!)

  1. Isn't it funny how much we can do when we don't know what our limits are?

But then someone tells us what our limits are and suddenly it is near impossible to exceed it.

  4. A personal question for Chiron O'Keefe.

Is Chiron your birth name? From the myth or the astrological/ astronomical body?

    Very interesting name.

  6. This was fascinating--thank you for posting it :)! This is what I'd always hoped/suspected about newer agents, but it's also great to know that the enthusiasm and love for the work never fades away.

  7. As I've slowly been creating my "agents to query" list, I've been mixing in newer agents with more experienced ones for the same reasons listed in this post. Thanks for this!:) Kristi

Keep your comments succinct. Any comment that runs longer than 100 words is generally too long.

If you're commenting more than three times a day, it's too much.

Civility is enforced. Spelling/grammar mistakes may be pointed out ONLY in the blog post itself, not in any of the ensuing commenter's contributions.

If your comment doesn't show up, it's most likely that Blogger ate it. Try posting again using a GoogleID. (comment moderation is on only for older posts)
