I had to tell them that the problem was not *over* watering. One of the things he did was plant cacti along his national border.<br /><br />Being from Utah originally, I explained to my foreign-born daughters about prickly pear cactus, how its fruit was edible, etc, etc. Not just one but <b>both</b> daughters thought it looked soft and fuzzy enough to pet.<br /><br />Poor dears.
