Hiatus 12

This is Maxwell - his pregnant mom was rescued off death row at the shelter and he was born on the 4th of July. His original name was Freedom, but I had some reservations about becoming the William Wallace of the dog park, so he’s now Maxwell.

Then after a month he decided to foster his sister, Liberty, who was also in need of a home after she had a hard time being adopted because of a deformed foot. She snowed my husband ...

And that is how we became a four dog household.

What a wonderful 'family' photo! They're all so cute!

And 'the William Wallace of the dog park' was another coffee moment!

What about that cutie pie, camera shy pup in the back? Details, please!

I love this! They all have such sweet faces. I also want to know who the quiet hero/ine in the background is. That is one big-hearted pup to let so many others into the house!

Such cuties. Shedders, though, I suspect.

Love this story. All our current Cats ( 5 ) and dogs ( 2 ) are rescues. I think all told over the 25 years my wife and I have been institutionalized, we've had 18 rescues. Only ( in my opinion) one questionable pet, A corgi mix. ( Corgi - lab (meth lab, most likely))

Happy Holidays to you all!

Cheers Hank.

So sweet. Maxwell looks a lot like my daughter's dog, who is a wonderful love-sponge. Lab and husky, maybe? Plenty of tail wagging at your house this Christmas!

Merry Christmas, all.

I'm off to Houston to visit my sister and her family.

It is faces like these that make me realize that I'm not entirely a cat guy. Nice looking bunch, the puppies are precious.
