Hiatus 11

Roxy!
This is Roxy. She spends half the year in Alaska, defending the house from free-range moose, and the other half soaking up Arizona sun puddles and chasing lizards. Squeaky-toy-in-a-blanket is her favorite training exercise. She also provides encouragement, affection, and foot-warming services to her author companion, and although she's twelve years old, Roxy has no plans for retirement anytime soon.

You must have had a treat in your hand (or someone did) in that first picture. That look of longing is priceless!

Squeaky-toy-in-a-blanket is a great game! And it looks like Roxy gives it the ol' two paw pounce, too!

Alaska and Arizona are two very different environments! Good thing she has that lovely sweater to help keep her warm.

Aw, hello, Roxy! What a sweet face.

Actually, it was a tennis ball in hand. That's Roxy's "Throw it, throw it, throw it!" look, although it is quite similar to her "Is that treat for me?" look. And she does love the two-paw bounce.
