Pets on Parade Day One

Luna, Otis, and Lady

Lily!

Lily's peeking out from her favorite blankie to wish you a warm and snuggly holiday season. I'm buried beneath Luna (her twin), Otis, and Lady; no matter how many Christmas cookies I eat (and it's a lot, I assure you) my lap is never big enough to hold all four of my babies.

Enjoy your reading, and I look forward to your first blog of the new year.

Kitties! I bet they're all underfoot at the same time at some point during the day. But with that bundle, they must keep you warm :)

What a way to start the parade--not just one, but four lovely ones!

Oh, goody, goody, goody! Now there's a game I can play: Guess the Fortunate Human Who Gets to Spend Time with the Lovely Ones. Hmmm, considering the clues. Who in the fam here has mentioned having cats? Whose writing style matches what I just read? Much to consider.

I have my guess!

Four. Get one more and you can be Jeff Somers.

Ah, scratch that. They are adorable kitties. So fluffy and cozy.

Can we do a caption competition? (Well, maybe that should be caption suggestition - unless the prize is making people happy.)

Lily looks like Kitty Red Riding Mew'd to me.

These adorable furballs brought a smile to my face. Luna, Otis, Lady, Lily - they look like a wonderful bunch (and their names sound like a great book title!).

Ha, this made me laugh. They are adorable.

And now I want cookies.

I'm bursting with parental pride and can stay silent no longer. These lovely rescues are mine, and I love them to the moon and back (even more than cookies, and I am, as my husband often says, the Cookie Monster!)

Those are some cute kitty noses. This is going to be a fun hiatus.

Yay, Jennifer! You are today's most winningest winner because you are the Fortunate Human Who Gets to Spend Time with the Lovely Ones.

My guess was wrong. But I still won because I got to see pics of Jennifer's adorable kitties. :) Have a great day, all!

Raw, that song( Red Dirt Girl) is too sublimely heartbreaking to do this to.

Beautiful kitties, Jennifer

Jennifer, you have a handsome clowder there, although in this case I thing they should be a cuddle of kitties.

I've never had more than two kitties at once (and my husband is allergic, so I've moved on to puppies) but that group is ADORABLE. I especially love the blankie picture!
